WEEP NO LONGER AFRICA
WEEP
NO LONGER AFRICA
The
chirps of birds, the hisses of serpents, the roars of lions always brings to mind
the jungles in Africa
Africa
is a proud continent
Not
only in resources but the protection of the Invisible One
Our
Nations have had difficult moments and shared like experiences
Our liberation
resulted in the residues of our conquerors lying on the shores of the virgin
Atlantic Ocean
We had
no time to present their bodies to our ancestors
Their
souls were scattered and hidden in caves with no history
Weep
no longer Africa
Our
liberation was a deception
Being
forced to wear the prism spectacles, we signed our own death warrant, our
slavery and the burden of debts
We
will unremittingly salute our heroes and heroines
Till
the Invisible One closes the chapter of the Monde
Weep
no longer Africa
This
is our time, not only to be excited
But
to remove the shackles of hopelessness and perplexity
We
rejoice this day
As we
bid farewell to the men in gray suit to sail to their own motherland
We
will no longer be an apparatus in the laboratory of our trade masters
Our
composition of greatness was filtered because we left our contracts in the
restroom instead of keeping them on our shelves and reviewing it daily
Weep
no longer Africa
At
the rising debts infused by the enticing offers from our ‘liberators’
Very
shortly we will come out of this cocoon
We
will be a great continent again
Where
the tears of sorrows, poverty, and hunger will be tears of abundance,
breakthroughs, exploits, wealth and influence
Weep no
longer Africa
For
the Invisible One is rewriting our story to be on the world stage again
