"EMBRACE YOUR UNIQUENESS, FOR YOU WERE INTENTIONALLY DESIGNED BY GOD."

There is a question that has occupied the thoughts of humans for centuries – why are we here? This question is one that provokes deep contemplation and has sparked countless debates.

Finding meaning and purpose in our lives is deeply personal and subjective. It is a journey of self-discovery that requires introspection, reflection, and exploration. It is through this process that we can uncover our passions, values, and aspirations – guiding forces that shape our lives and provide a sense of purpose.

It is not a happenstance that we are here. We are not the accidental, spontaneous explosive expansion of some dust and gases in space.  I would always tell myself that even if that was true, God caused it.  The Bible makes us understand that God even laid a foundation for the world. (Eph. 1:4; 1 Pet. 1:20).  He planned for all this to happen, and He put careful thought into it.

If God intentionally brought us here, surely, He must have had a reason for doing so. But have you ever woken up in a state of unrest and with a lost sense of direction? Have you ever experienced solitude with no source of hope?

God has every step of ours laid out and planned, just as He did for the universe. He has put in place all we will need for our lifetime here on earth. (2 Pet. 1 v 3)

It is not enough to ask ourselves, “What is my purpose?” but instead, “What is God’s purpose for me”? We cannot start with, “Who am I”? and end it there. The actual question is, “Who am I in Christ”?

I understand that when you think about purpose, your mind might immediately go to the big questions, like what profession you should pursue or if you should go into ministry. These are important questions, but they're not the only ones that matter.

Here are some ways to identify your purpose:

1.       Seek God's guidance: Ask God to reveal his purpose for your life. He may speak to you through his Word, through prayer, or through other people.

2.      Reflect on your spiritual gifts: What are you good at? What do you enjoy doing? What are you passionate about? These are all clues to your spiritual gifts, which are the abilities that God has given you to use in his service.

3.      Consider your talents and interests: What are you good at? What do you enjoy doing?

4.   Pay attention to your passions: What are you passionate about? What do you care about? These are often the areas where God wants you to use your gifts and talents to make a difference in the world.

5.   Be open to new experiences: Don't be afraid to try new things and step outside of your comfort zone. You may be surprised at where God leads you.

Remember, your purpose is not something that you find once and for all. It is something that you discover and rediscover throughout your life. As you grow and change, so will your purpose. So be open to new things and be willing to follow God wherever he leads you.

If you're feeling lost or confused about your purpose, don't worry. You're not alone. Many people go through this at some point in their lives.

When we surrender our lives to God, we are essentially saying that we are no longer in control.

We can trust that God is leading us on a journey to a glorious destiny.
