THE DAYS OF HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
The desire of quick
success, instantaneous breakthroughs, fame have engulfed into the minds of many
people in desperate attitude to attain success at all cost. I am not trying to
say the attainment of success is bad, but I want us to have this understanding
that great success is attained by going through the PROCESS. A wise man once
said, “if you jump into success you will fall but if you climb into success you
will stay there”. Life is not all rosy, there are hiccups here and there, but
with persistency, perseverance and consistency those challenges will be
overcome.
William Carey once said,
expect great things from God and also attempt great things for God. Simply, in
our quest for success lets acknowledge Providence as the fulcrum of our
progress.
Most often, some people
despise little struggles and challenges when launching into a new venture. This
myopic view prevents them from drawing structural plans of the future of the organization.
Dear reader, do not be too quick to present immediate conclusion about the
future of your new organization based on the present challenges. Have this
understanding that, no baby given birth to weighs 10kg at birth. It takes time
and gradual process for the baby to become an adult. In light of this, lets be
patient as we nurture our dreams into reality.
Lets ponder over these;
Did the Almighty God
create the world in a single day? Of course we know that the entire creation was beyond a day.
Does a seed immediately sprout into a tree overnight when planted?
Do the birds fly across
the skies throughout the day?
Having this
understanding we can tell that, anything worthwhile is achieved within a time
frame.
Do not rush into
ventures else you will get premature results; almost of no relevance.
Great stories and
testimonies that have had impact for many generations were birth from humble
beginnings like the Rockefellers, Sam Walton, J.C Penny, Warren Buffets and
many great names we celebrate. These great names did not jump into success; they did not attain success overnight, they
passed through the process and overcame all challenges that pulled up every now
and then.
WHAT WILL YOU BE REMEMBERED OF IN YOUR
GENERATION?
Be identified with your purpose
and give it all it takes to attain stardom.
Climbing the ladder of
success may be herculean but overcoming it is worthwhile.
SUCCESS IS PRECIOUS…….BE
PROUD TO MAKE AN IMPACT IN YOUR GENERATION.
