CAN GOD COUNT ON US AS RESCUE AGENTS IN THESE LAST DAYS?
Kingdom service is the jackpot for sweat less breakthrough in the life of believers. This is so because kingdom service will set an ordinary man above all nations of the earth- Bishop David Oyedepo. For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14
Until
we reach forth and tell others of the saving power of God, many will still be
in darkness. As Christians we have been commissioned to reach the ends of the
world with the message of our Lord Jesus Christ. The light of Christ in us must override every darkness.
We
are in a dispensation where laxity and all manner of distractions and teachings
are preventing us from becoming soul winners. We will not sit aloof to see the
enemy have a filled day and plague the children of God with ignorance and bound
them into oppression and captivity.
This
little epistle shares with you six reasons
for soul winning.
1. Because Jesus Christ was a soul winner
This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. 1 Timothy 1:15
Like
Apostle Paul, he did not forget that he was also saved by Jesus Christ. He
found it needful to also reach out to the unsaved. We can all bear witness of
his impact in the body of Christ.
2. Because the harvest
is great
Matthew 9:36-37
But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them,
because they were [a]weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37
Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the
laborers are few.
What
if no one ever witnessed the message of the gospel to us? We are more likely to
be in darkness waiting for damnation. It is imperative as children of God to be
excited in going for missions and other evangelistic campaigns to save the
heathens.
3. Because of the great commission
Mark 16:15 And
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every
creature. If we are Christian will prove
our love for Jesus Christ and obey His commandments, soul winning will not be a
burden to us. We will do it with delightsome obedience with the hope of
heavenly reward.
4. Because God will hold us accountable
Ezekiel 3:17-18
“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel;
therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: 18 When I
say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor
speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same
wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your
hand.
Will
you watch that sibling, relative, neighbour, friend, colleague, etc end up in
hell simply because you did not reach out to them and lead to Jesus Christ.
There are countless excuses we can give, but it is not significant than taking
in steps to pull people out from hell fire.
5. Because the labourers are few
Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
Can God
count on us? Will we be willing to lay down our ambition and follow God’s
leading for the spectacular assignment He has given us. How many of us will be willing to pay the
price to be among the labourers if Christ to rescue many and bring them to
light.
6. Because of what we have experienced
Heb 2:3-4 how
shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to
be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4 God
also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and
gifts[a] of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?
As
disciples of Jesus Christ, with imprints of His nature of love in us, it is
necessary to share our testimonies to inspire people to also give their lives
to Jesus Christ. When people realize, you had a wayward past but supernaturally
transformed by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal saviour, they
will glad to also partake of the joy of salvation.
Dear
reader, I am very optimistic that the Lord has spoken to you through this
little piece. We are in the last days and perilous experiences are all over.
The gloominess is trying to prevent people from believing and accepting the
Lordship of Jesus Christ. You are too precious to go to hell. You are valuable
to God to be used as a rescue agent in your generation. God loves us so much
and He has given us the opportunity to unite with Him through His Son Jesus
Christ. So I want to pray with you incase you are not and also to admonish you
if you are lagging behind in your kingdom stewardship.

this prayer:
Lord
Jesus, I thank you for this opportunity.
I want to experience your salvation today. I believe that you died on
the cross for my sins. I admit I'm a
sinner in need of mercy and pardon. Please write my name in the book of life so
that I will not cast away when you come in glory. I am inviting you to come and live in my heart this day and ever
more. Amen
The
Lord has heard your prayers. He will preserve you until the day of His appearance. It is done in Jesus name.
